Leading German politician calls for Greek eurozone exit

A top official from Angela Merkel's sister party has called for Greece to exit the eurozone.

Alexander Dobrindt, general secretary of the CSU party, made the comments in an interview on German radio this morning.

The comments are likely to go down badly with Chancellor Merkel who previously warned politicians to "weigh their words carefully" when speaking about the crisis, conscious of how nervous the financial markets are.
