The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed down 13.85 points to 2,447.93, a drop of 0.57%.
Among the fallers, Smurfit Kappa closed down 16c to €4.80; Tullow Oil was down 18c to €12.22 and Independent News & Media slipped 1c to €0.28.
