Ford to launch key to remotely control speed, phone use, stereo volume

Ford is launching a car key which will allow parents to limit the speed their teenagers can drive at.

The MyKey system can also be used to remotely turn the stereo system down and block it altogether if seatbelts are not fastened.

The controls can also switch off Bluetooth technology so phone calls cannot be made from the car.

MyKey will be available from next year.
