Report: AIB and BOI to fall short on business lending targets

A new report claims Bank of Ireland and AIB are unlikely to meet their targets for lending to businesses this year.

The banks are each supposed to lend €3bn to small and medium sized enterprises under a scheme introduced by the last government.
