The Irish Farmers’ Association said today that it was concerned that three major retailers will control 70% of the grocery market if the Musgrave Group's takeover of Superquinn is approved.

A receiver was appointed to the supermarket chain last night, initially raising concerns about the future of more than 2,800 workers.
