Changes to Stability Mechanism instil confidence in Irish bonds

Ireland's way back to the bond markets is clearer today after changes made to the European Stability Mechanism.

Experts say markets were nervous about the old system, but will be feel more confident in buying Irish bonds now that the "preferred creditor" status has been removed at an meeting of EU Finance Ministers in Luxembourg this week.
