Just 0.6% of Europeans plan Irish visit

Results of a new EU poll show that just 0.6% of Europeans plan to visit Ireland this year – the same number as plan to visit Bulgaria or Australia.

The most popular destinations for European tourists are Spain (6.6%), Italy (5.8%) France (4.4%), the USA (3.5%) and Greece (3.1%). (Note: These figures exclude countries' own nationals planning to holiday at home).
