Glanbia upbeat about first-half performance

Nutritional solutions and cheese group Glanbia has delivered an upbeat statement for the January-to-May period this year.

The group said: "The positive underlying trends in global dairy and nutritionals sectors experienced in 2010 have continued in 2011. The group is performing well year to date and is expected to deliver a strong first-half result."
