€750m spent on Lotto and scratch cards last year

We spent more than €750m on the National Lottery last year, with €150m of that amount being spent on scratch cards.

New figures show more than 2.2 million people played regularly, and a total of €419m in prize money was won, or an average of more than €1m a day.
