Cloud-computing potential discussed at Dublin showcase
The potential of cloud-computing in Ireland is the focus of a showcase event taking place in Dublin today.
Speakers from Microsoft, IBM and Fujitsu will be explaining how to grow the sector, which it is claimed could create morethan 8,500 jobs by 2014.
Dave Feenan from Cloud Arena said most computer users were availing of cloud-based technology without even being aware of it, through their use of Hotmail, Gmail, Facebook or Twitter.
