The Chief Executive of Eirgrid has said today the group is focused on driving competitiveness in Ireland's electricity market.

Chief Executive of Eirgrid Dermot Byrne has said the group is focused on driving competitiveness in Ireland's electricity market.

The group has today published it's annual report, which shows operating profit for the year to September 2010, was €15.7m - an increase of more €6m on 2009.
