British Airways has signed a contract with Rolls Royce to use the same engines on its A380s that suffered a mid-flight blow-out on a Qantas plane last year.

British Airways has signed a contract with Rolls Royce to use the same engines on its A380s that suffered a mid-flight blow-out on a Qantas plane last year.

The deal was entered into before the incident forced the carrier to temporarily ground its superjumbo fleet.
