Brown predicts 'major crisis' in euro area

The Former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has predicted that the euro currency will face a "high noon" moment of reckoning early in the New Year.

Mr Brown has told the BBC that his sense is that there will be a "major crisis in the euro area" in the first months of 2011.
