Eircom revenues fall by 5.6%

Eircom has reported a 5.6% fall in quarterly revenues to €442m as operating costs rose by 8.7% to €274m.

The company's adjusted earnings before tax and interest remained flat at €168m.

There was a reduction of 117 in staff numbers to the end of September, compared to the quarter before.
