Second-hand goods trading increases

Trading in second-hand goods is becoming much more common as people's financial situations degrades.

A new consumer price index is being launched today by the Buy and Sell which gives an insight into people's buying and selling trends across a wide variety of sectors and right around the country.

The overall average price of goods in Connaught is bucking the trend with an increase of 7%.

All other regions have experienced decreases, including a 27% drop in Leinster.
