Retail chief calls on Government to help traders beat rush to North

The CEO of Retail Excellence Ireland has called on the Government to help retailers maintain their sales levels.

Sales figures to be released today show that retail sales are at the same level as they were this time last year, the first time this has happened in 33 months.
