Irish Nationwide 'to hike variable rate'

It is reported today that Irish Nationwide is preparing to raise its interest rate for standard variable mortgages.

The Irish Independent says the building society will hike the level by .54% tomorrow, adding around €30 to every €100,000 borrowed.
