Little movement for ISEQ
The ISEQ index of Irish shares crept down 3.13 points to 2,854.83 today.
There was little movement in the financial sector. Irish Life and Permanent slipped 2c to €1.66 and Bank of Ireland lost 1c to 81c. Allied Irish Banks was unchanged at 84c.
Paddy Power was the star performer of the day, rising 83c to €27.93. Tullow Oil was 19c better off on €15.94 and Smurfit improved 10c to €7.76.
It was not all good news however. Icon fell 50c to 18.50. Kerry (down 16c to €24.47), CRH (down 11c to €15.01) and Irish Continental Group (down 10c to €14.85) all lost ground down.
