Small businesses pessimistic on trade, survey reveals

Almost 60% of small businesses view the current trading climate as poor or very poor, new research revealed today.

A survey by the Small Firms Association (SFA) found more than a quarter of companies were expecting a decrease in turnover over the next three months, while just one in four rated their situation as good or very good.
