G20: World emerging from recession quicker than expected

Finance ministers from the world's 20 leading economies say the global economy is emerging faster than expected from the deep recession.

After talks in Washington, the G20 group said the pace of the recovery was largely due to the huge amounts of government money pumped into national economies.
