The rate of decline in the Irish economy is set to ease significantly with growth re-emerging in the second half of this year.

The forecast is contained in the querterly bulletin from the Central Bank, in which the bank predicts a .5% drop in GDP for 2010, compared to last year's 7% GDP contraction.
