There is speculation that the Finance Minister Brian Lenihan will announce the further recapitalisation of Anglo Irish Bank as soon as next Tuesday.
The Government has already given the State-owned bank €4bn to keep it afloat, and its new Chief Executive Mike Aynsley said today that a further €9bn could yet be required.
