The Competition Authority has been urged to investigate after reports that Tesco has been demanding millions of euro from Irish suppliers to keep stock of their products on its shelves.

Leading suppliers claim they are being bullied by Tesco and say, although other large retailers engage in the "pay to play" practise, the demands by Tesco are much bigger.
