CIF: Cork suffered 9,000 job losses in construction last year

Nine thousand jobs have been lost in the construction industry in Cork over the last year alone.

A new report from the Construction Industry estimates that these job losses could cost the exchequer up to €162m annually in extra social welfare payments.
