Smurfit Kappa reports 14% fall in revenue

Packaging giant Smurfit Kappa has reported a 14% drop in revenue to €6bn in 2009 and a 5% fall in operating profit.

The company said, however, that there have been encouraging signs of a pick-up in demand for packaging over the past three months.
