United Drug issues upbeat statement

United Drug says its profits will be in line with 2009 levels despite the newly-agreed deal between the Government and drug manufacturers to cut the prices of wholesale drugs by 40%.

In an interim management statement the company said the new agreement would hit revenue at its wholesale division.
