Toyota to announce plan to fix accelerator pedals

Japanese car maker Toyota will announce later how it plans to fix faulty accelerator pedals on millions of its cars.

Toyota has issued a major recall of eight of its models and is closing five assembly lines in the US and Canada because of the problem.
