Construction outlook still weak

Half of Ireland's construction companies anticipate making further layoffs or having to restructure their businesses this year, according to a new survey published today.

The 2010 Construction Outlook survey, carried out by accountants Mazars, found almost two out of every three Irish building firms had made workers redundant in the past year.
