The ISEQ index of Irish shares gained 43.65 points to 2,930.02 today.
Irish Life and Permanent led the way in the financial sector, gaining 21c to 3.51. Bank of Ireland was up 9c to €1.73 and Allied Irish Banks improved 8c to €1.67.
