Chambers Ireland has today criticised the national day of protest, saying that it will do nothing to help restore confidence in our economy.

Chambers Ireland deputy chief executive Seán Murphy said: “Today’s protests do not help to address the structural deficit that the Exchequer faces. Borrowing between €400m and €500m a week to fund current spending is simply not sustainable.”
