The ISEQ index of Irish shares inched up 8.19 points to 3,302.11 in morning trading today.
The financials did well. Bank of Ireland led the way, climbing 18c to €2.81. Allied Irish Banks improved 10c to €2.80, with Irish Life and Permanent unchanged at €5.76.
