Pfizer achieves Wyeth takeover

Pfizer has completed a $68bn takeover of rival pharmaceuticals giant, Wyeth.

The company has now become Ireland's biggest foreign direct investment employer, with more than 5,000 employees, in Cork, Dublin, Sligo, Limerick and Kildare.
