The Irish Exporters Association says merchandise exports from Ireland increased by 2% in the first half of this year, despite the economic downturn.

The Irish Exporters Association says merchandise exports from Ireland increased by 2% in the first half of this year, despite the economic downturn.

The association says it expects the growth to be mirrored in the figure for the whole of the year, but it also expects service exports to fall by 1%.
