ISEQ up in early trading

The ISEQ index of Irish shares rose in early trading this morning, up 30.21 points to 3,008.14 at 11.45am.

Index majors on an upward trend included insurer FBD, up 25c to €7.30; Smurfit Kappa, rising 23c to €5.40; Paddy Power, lifting 18c to €18.80; CRH, adding 20c to €16.94; Kingspan, up 14c to €5.94; C&C, rising 13c to €2.55; Grafton Group, up 8c to €3.68, and Greencore, adding 6c to €1.58.
