Aer Lingus may consider moving the bulk of its operations from its Irish bases to elsewhere in Europe in an effort to cut costs.

Officials from the former national airline refused to rule out such a move at a press briefing in Dublin Airport this morning after earlier revealing losses of €93m for the first half of this year.
