United Drug trading ‘in line with expectations’

Pharmaceutical company United Drug has said that overall trading in the quarter to 30 June 2009, was in line with expectations as stated in its April trading update.

It warned however that parts of the group continue to experience difficult trading conditions, against a backdrop of reduced consumer spending on discretionary items and lower levels of spending on hospital equipment.
