The value of Irish shares jumped by almost 1.5% today, as the ISEQ index finished up 40.20 points to 2,798.91.
The financials all gained ground. Irish Life and Permanent led the way, jumping 8c to €3.28. Bank of Ireland (up 7c to €1.83) and Allied Irish Banks (up 5c to €1.72) were not far behind.
