A firm of stockbrokers says Irish investors are strongly in favour of the Government's plans to establish NAMA to buy bad property debts from Irish banks.

However, Bloxham Stockbrokers says a survey of 450 investors has found that most believe AIB and Bank of Ireland will have to raise equity in the next 12 months in order to survive.
