Threat of strike action averted at Bord na Móna

The threat of strike action at Bord na Móna has been averted after workers agreed to accept new restructuring proposals from the company's management.

The workers had initially voted to mount a stoppage in protest at job and pay cuts being sought by management along with changes in the status of seasonal workers.
