Fyffes boosts earnings target for 2009

Fruit distributor Fyffes today raised its earnings target for 2009 to €16-20m, from a range of €14-18m announced earlier in the year.

In a statement, the company said that despite an increase in costs of around 20%, market conditions had been generally favourable in recent months, particularly on the continent.
