ESPN deny Setanta move

Setanta’s hopes of being rescued by a buy-out by Disney-owned broadcaster ESPN have been dashed.

ESPN have ruled out any purchase of the cash-strapped sports broadcaster, whose fate should be decided within the next few days, but could be interested in acquiring the rights to several sports if Setanta goes into administration.
