Tesco workers in Cork to begin strike action

Around 80 workers at the Tesco outlet in the Douglas area of Cork are going on strike today as part of a row over terms and conditions.

The dispute centres on the company's plan to impose new terms on some workers who transfer to a new store opening in the area on Friday.
