French union officials today confirmed that factory workers at manufacturer Caterpillar are still holding four of their bosses hostage in protest at job cuts.

French union officials today confirmed that factory workers at manufacturer Caterpillar are still holding four of their bosses hostage in protest at job cuts.

The workers at Grenoble have refused to let the executives leave the plant for a second straight day. They want talks they hope will lead to improved severance packages for 733 workers who are to be let go.
