The ISEQ index of Irish shares made significant gains today, closing up 64.60 points to 2,193.95.
Major gainers included Kerry Group, which jumped 85c to 15.25; Elan Corp, up 38c to 5.28; CRH, gaining 27c to 16.22; Paddy Power, cheering 24c to 12.14, and Kingspan, up 15c to 2.75.
