Irish people are spending 20% less on eating out because of the recession, according to a survey by the Restaurant Association of Ireland.

Irish people are spending 20% less on eating out because of the recession, according to a survey by the Restaurant Association of Ireland.

The association says the number of diners has fallen by 10% and almost half of restaurateurs say they are finding the decline more difficult than they expected six months ago.
