Statistics to show extent of economic decline last year

More gloomy statistics about the state of the Irish economy are expected today when the CSO publishes the National Accounts and Balance of Payments data for the final quarter of last year.

The National Accounts will include the overall economic growth figure, as well as statistics on consumer spending, capital investment and industrial output.
