The Iseq index of shares stands at 2,145.46, 58 points (0.03%) down in morning trading by 10.45am.

In quiet trading, the biggest mover is pharmaceutical giant Elan who have climbed 16c to €4. Not far behind on 15c rises were building firm Kingspan and betting group Paddy Power, who are on €2.80 and 12.35.
