Solid gains for ISEQ

The ISEQ index of Irish shares ended in positive territory today, closing up 47.36 points at 2,146.04.

Notable gainers included Irish Life & Permanent, which climbed 40c or 44.44% to 1.30. AIB posted a 7c rise to 0.66 while Bank of Ireland cheered 9c to 0.50.
