ISEQ down almost 2%

The ISEQ index of Irish shares lost almost 2% of its value in today's trading, falling 38.22 points to 1,947.41.

Among the high-profile fallers were Aer Lingus, which dived 21c or 26.58% to 0.58 after the airline reported a pre-tax loss of almost €120m for last year, compared with a profit of €124.8m a year earlier.
