Quarter of small firms planning pay reductions

The Small Firms Association says more than two-thirds of its members are planning to implement pay freezes in the coming months, with a further quarter planning pay cuts.

The association says a survey it carried out found that 84% of small companies are less confident about the business environment than they were at this time last year.
